Crocheted Knotted Headband

So I saw this a while ago and have been wanting to make one for a while.  First I made this one...

 And it fit my baby's head...also the knot didn't really show up very well.  I thought maybe it would look cooler with two different colors.

So I made this one...

And thought it turned out kind of weird looking.  I wondered if maybe it would look better on, and it kind of did.

Ummm...Nope.  Not loving it.

Not really at all.  Trust me, it looks better in the pictures (and I don't even think it looks that great in the pictures...).

See those flower earrings??  That's another project that did turn out amazingly.
