Ten-Minute Caramels

I found this recipe the other night on Pinterest and almost immediately ran downstairs to the kitchen and whipped these up.  

First, dump these ingredients into a bowl:
1/4 c butter
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
1/2 c sweetened condensed milk


Give it a quick stir.


Microwave for 2 minutes.


Stir.

Microwave another 2 minutes.


Stir...

Microwave another two minutes.


Stir.

And pour it into a lightly buttered dish.  


Let it sit until it's set up.


And enjoy the easiest caramels in history!!

These are actually really good.  I still prefer the original, super time-consuming caramels, but for how little time these take to make, sooo worth it.
